The Cover-up Is ALWAYS Worse Than the Crime

Unless, of course, the cover-up is successful, in which case, you're golden.

  2. No, I've not been trying to cover up anything lately. And I've committed no crimes that I'm aware of; well, speeding, and I think I might have lost my race against a yellow light a couple of nights ago, so I might be getting a nastygram and bill from Wake County in the mail soon. But nothing major.

On the other hand, I know of some other folks who had been trying to cover something up until a few of us found out about it recently. They swear that they've now righted their wrongs and have reformed their ways. I'll believe it only when I see it and won't ever trust the SOBs again, no matter how sincere they appear to be.

But that's all I can really say on that matter. Publicly, at least.

  3. Hmmm, based on something PW said last Friday, I'm thinking I might know what you're talking about. You know, reading between the blog lines here and the Guinness there. Sorry you couldn't make it.
